My name is Linda Lopez, and I am a California Certified Phlebotomy Technician, CPT-1, with more than seven years of experience in clinical, hospital, and mobile phlebotomy settings. Throughout my career, I have worked in fast-paced medical environments, including Dameron Hospital, as well as in mobile phlebotomy through APPS Paramedical. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including pediatric, geriatric, homebound, and hard-to-stick patients. I am experienced in venipuncture, capillary collection, specimen handling and processing, difficult draws, EKGs, manual vital signs, infection control, HIPAA compliance, and maintaining specimen integrity from collection through transport. I take pride in helping patients feel comfortable and at ease, especially those who may be nervous about blood draws or have had difficult experiences in the past. I received my phlebotomy training through San Joaquin Delta College and hold my California CPT-1 certification.
